Hi Esme! Ouch, that sounds terrible! I'm glad you're feeling better now at least!
It seems you can invite the Leader of the Pack to a party, even if you can't do so without a party. And apparently the wolf doesn't need to like the sim all that much to come, either. I don't know if it's a bug in the game, but I got the tip that you can do that from beanstalksims, so I don't think it's corruption at least. If it's a bug, well, I'm taking advantage of it! ;)
Yes, Pascal is quite non-scary indeed. :)
Cornwall is quite persistent, and so are many of our townies, especially the meaner ones. Whenever I think I've averted a gnome theft, nope, the thief just tries again when I'm not looking. Also a popular strategy is to take it during the night, when my game is on speed 3. :P
Vidcund and Pascal are not related here, I didn't create any relationships and even erased relationships between kids and adults that I had to make so that the game would accept households. Some sims may have a slight positive headstart from being made in the same batch and so very briefly co-residing before I towniefied them, but otherwise they were all strangers. I have no idea what Vidcund's problem was, but I suppose something happened when Nervous was a townie that made them dislike each other.
Yeah, blond plantsims don't exactly grow on trees in Lakewood. We'll see how that works out, maybe we'll do something about those turn ons, or maybe she'll find someone despite them.
Thanks! :) It's fun doing the portraits a little differently this time.
It's nice to see the kids of the neighborhood get together and form friendships, I've always liked that.
I usually try to follow what the sims seem to want, based on wants, bolts and ACR, and behavior in general. Sometimes I'm biased and want a sim to end up with a certain partner, so I may try to influence them, but I try to avoid straight out shoving them together. Bonita and Melody seem very interested in each other, and I like them together, so that may be the solution for them. We'll see how things work out.
It would have been annoying, but I would have eventually counted the collection as complete for the point. But thanks to the hack, I don't need to, so hooray!
Thanks Esme, and thank you for reading and commenting! :)
